There are 2 Prize Categories within 1 Tournament

Booster Section - Players rated below 1800

Open Section - Players rated 1800 or higher

ChessSA and/or FIDE ratings are used to determine categories(lichess ratings are irrelevant)

There are 8 rounds ... Time Control 8 minutes each (no increment)

(Allegations of players cheating will be investigated as will any irregularities reported by lichess; and offending players may be disqualified at the discretion of the Chief Arbiter)

Prizes are based on a minimum of 10 players in each category. Prize values will be adjusted in proportion to the number of entries in each category. Booster Section Players are also eligible for an OPEN prize. In this case, they will receive the prize of the higher value, while the next in line will claim the other prize etc
